Fashion’s Night Out Transforms The Strip Into A Fashion Runway

Fashion’s Night Out took over The Sunset Strip on Thursdsay, Sept. 8, turning the sidewalks into a fashionable runway set beneath a warm Southern California evening. Clothing and retail stores in Sunset Plaza and on The Strip extended their hours to celebrate the new fall fashion and featured store specials, cheese, wine, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and racks and racks of the latest trends for the season.

LIVE! On Sunset, Nicole Miller and Code C showcased new accessories and jewelry made of feathers, chunky necklaces and stylish handbags along with an array of scarves to gear up for the colder weather. Fashionistas should get ready to strut their stuff with mini dresses, leggings, leather jackets and heels, as they are also set to score big this season. Sunset Strip businesses BCBG Maxazria, H. Lorenzo, Andaz West Hollywood and the Skybar at Mondrian also participated in the evening’s events.

Fashion’s Night Out West Hollywood was organized and supported by the City of West Hollywood, The Avenues, West Hollywood Marketing & Visitors Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce. Fashion’s Night Out is a global initiative originally created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy during the recession.  The program is a collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York and is celebrate in more than 100 cities, including West Hollywood.
