This week, summertime movie night screenings continue at Sunset Strip mainstays – The Rainbow Bar and Grill and also poolside at Skybar.  Tonight don’t miss the classic punk rock biopic Sid & Nancy showing at The Rainbow and everyone’s favorite comedic spoof Spaceballs screening at Skybar.  Both films start at 8 p.m.


Tuesday, June 16

Each and every Tuesday night starting at 6 p.m., head to Saddle Ranch Chop House to feed your cowboy-sized appetite with all you can eat ribs for only $25.99 and then stick around for some libation induced sing-a-longs with Superstar Karaoke kicking off at 10 p.m.


Wednesday, June 17

Rock n’ roll meets comedy this Wednesday when the world famous Comedy Store presents Distortion – a stand-up show followed by a live podcast with hosts Jim Florentine (VH1’s That Metal Show) and rock star comic Dean Delray, along with special guests Joe Rogan and more… Doors open at 10 p.m.  Tickets are $10 GA.


Thursday, June 18

The Sunset Strip’s own spandex clad superstars Steel Panther return to House of Blues for their final two shows (June 18, 25), before the landmark venue closes its doors for good.  Doors open at 9 p.m.  Tickets are $15 GA.  These shows will sell out!


Friday, June 19

The Roxy Theatre presents a sold out show with legendary underground rapper, producer, and MC, Evidence of Dilated Peoples.  Doors open at 8 p.m.

Plus all weekend long at The Standard Hollywood, peruse the latest swimwear fashions by ERES of Paris at their exclusive poolside pop-up shop.  Event runs from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m. each day.  RSVP recommended.

This Father’s Day, nothing says thanks dad, more than a special four-course steak and scotch tasting at Oliver’s Prime Steakhouse (located inside The Grafton hotel).  This chef selected menu will start off with an American Wagyu hanger steak paired with Johnnie Walker Black, followed by the second course, a USDA prime wet aged rib eye served with an Oban Whisky 14 yr Single Malt, and for the grand finale, Oliver’s signature 35 day dry-aged New York sirloin complimented with a Laphroaig 10 yr Single Malt; plus (as if that wasn’t enough) polish things off with their decadent bread pudding smothered in a bourbon créme anglaise.  This prix fixe offering is $65 per person.  For reservations call (323) 491-9003.
