All summer long, enjoy free Monday movie night screenings at Sunset Strip mainstays – The Rainbow Bar and Grill and also poolside at Skybar.  This week don’t miss the comedy classic Caddyshack at The Rainbow and cosmic action flick The Fifth Element at Skybar.  Both films start at 8 p.m.


Tuesday, June 9

Jay-Z protégé and three time Grammy nominee Lupe Fiasco hits the stage at House of Blues Sunset.  Doors open at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $35 GA.


Wednesday, June 10

Once a month, the Andaz West Hollywood offers a complimentary wine tasting featuring a selection of curated reds and whites from boutique California wineries.  This time around enjoy a selection of German and Austrian style wines produced locally here in the Golden State.  Event runs from 5-7 p.m. and is free to guest and neighbors.


Thursday, June 11

The longest running continuous show on The Sunset Strip (13 years) – Steel Panther (still referred to as Metal Skool by longtime fans) return to play a last series of dates, every Thursday in June, before House of Blues closes down for good.  Doors for all shows open at 9 p.m.  Tickets are $15 GA.


Friday, June 12

One of the last remaining outposts of the tangible word, The Sunset Strip’s very own Book Soup celebrates their 40th anniversary this Friday.  Enjoy complimentary drinks, refreshments, cake and a reading of excerpts from some very special surprise guests.  The festivities start at 7 p.m.


Saturday, June 13

In celebration of this weekend’s LA Pride 2015 fest both the Andaz West Hollywood and The Standard will be hosting epic sized pool parties…

The Andaz hosts spLAsh – L.A.’s tallest rooftop pool party featuring sounds by DJ Roland Belmares.  Event runs from 12 a.m.-6 p.m.  Tickets and VIP passes are still available.

The Standard hosts their own Pride Pool Party featuring special guest DJs Venus X, Kittens, Kim Anh, Newbody and guest host Gregory Alexander.  Event runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.  RSVP for free  


Sunday, June 14

Spend your Sunday funday carousing with friends and neighbors rooftop, at the always popular and picturesque Pearl’s Liquor Bar.  Choose from an assortment of playful takes on breakfast classics (Chicken & Donuts, Peanut Butter Crunch Pancakes), plus enjoy Pearl’s now famous Mimosa Kits featuring an assortment of juices and fruits.  Brunch is served weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
