Fashion Forward: TAGS Opens Stylish Flagship On The Sunset Strip

Earlier this month, trendy fashion retailer Live! On Sunset picked up shop, and moved eastbound to a new fashionable space located in The Sunset building. The always forward-thinking retailer also rebranded themselves with a new name, TAGS (Tarrant Apparel Group).

The new flagship location celebrated their freshly relocated boutique digs with a star-studded, red carpet event complete with celeb appearances by trendsetting young fashionistas Tehmina Sunny (Argo, “NCIS”), Tiffany Hines (CW's “90210”), Marisa Lauren (ABC Family's “Greek”) and Natalie Dreyfuss (ABC Family's “Secret Life of The American Teenager”) among others.

Own A Piece Of Rock & Roll HIstory! Gibson GuitarTown Charity Auction Feb. 22

Join us at the Gibson GuitarTown on The Sunset Strip charity auction this Friday, Feb. 22 and bid on giant art sculptures created by internationally and locally acclaimed artists, including Shepard Fairey, RISK and John Kosh! The auction will begin at 8 p.m. at Bonhams Los Angeles. Guests can bid on the guitars in person or register to bid online.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Los Angeles Fund for Education's "Arts Matter" campaign, which provides art and music education and funding for L.A. public schools.
Gibson GuitarTown on The Sunset Strip is a public art exhibit celebrating the history of The Sunset Strip. The collection includes works celebrating musicians Stevie Nicks, The Doors, Rage Against The Machine, Van Halen, Jane's Addiction and more.

Picks of the Week: Feb. 19-24

Tonight at Book Soup join author Andros Georgiou as he signs and discusses his new George Michael bio Rock: The Luckiest Man in Pop. Second cousin to the famed pop star, Georgiou had a lifelong friendship with Michael until the infamous “lewd conduct” event of 1998 irrevocably damaged their closeness. Event begins at 7 p.m.

Rounding out the third week of their extended month-long residency, Warner Drive returns to The Viper Room this Wednesday, Feb. 20 along with house band Gunpowder Secrets. Doors open at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $10 advance/$12 day of show.
