0 Eastbound and westbound lanes will be reduced to one travel lane during work hours (Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). At the end of the day lanes will be reopened to two lanes of traffic in each direction.
This week the contractor is continuing to work on replacing damaged sidewalks, driveways and corner ramps on the south side of the street. Any affected driveways will be temporarily inconvenienced with steel plates installed to allow for access.
There has been some great progress with a lot of the concrete work on the north side of the street now complete, and many of the ramps at the corners complete.
Roadway repairs will be made, including excavating the damaged area, fixing/compacting the soil that is under the pavement and repaving the damaged area. The grinding of the old concrete has begun. One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction, and the roadway resumes to two lanes of traffic in each direction at the end of the day.
Commuters should expect some delays and plan for additional time to get through the area.
