Tonight, The World Famous Comedy Store presents a free “secret show” with The Deathsquad.  This weekly podcast hosted by Brian Redban (co-host of the Joe Rogan Experience) has an extra special lineup this week featuring Steve-O, Tom Green, Brody Stevens (The Hangover), Jayson Thibault plus a few surprises.  Show starts at 8 p.m. and is first come, first served seating.

Wednesday, Dec. 19 head to The Roxy Theatre for KROQ Locals Only & Vanguard present a Sugar Hill Holiday Bash with singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Robert Francis.  Continuing on his streak of success after 2009’s internationally charting hit “Junebud,” Francis returns with songs from his new record Strangers in the First Place.  Doors open at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $12.


PICK OF THE WEEK: Starting this Thursday, Dec. 20 all-star, super-cover group Camp Freddy returns for three sold out nights with their annual end of year residency at The Roxy Theatre.  Paying homage to all your favorite rock n’ roll classics, nobody does it better than this rotating cast of seasoned veterans.  See what surprise A-list legends drop in this year…  All shows are 21+.  Doors open at 9 p.m.


The Mayan day of reckoning is finally upon us!  This 12/21/12 countdown to destruction at House of Blues Sunset as they host their End of the World Party… Freak Out!  This smorgasbord of debauchery will feature a headlining performance by Nekromantix, skeleton go-go dancers, body painting, exotic performers, live art exhibit, clowns, a specially planned pre-party menu at the Crossroads restaurant and $7 apocalyptic drink specials all night long!  Phew…  Doors open at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $21 adv/$23.50 dos.  This event is all-ages.


Assuming you survive the Mayan apocalypse… head to the world famous Viper Room this Saturday, Dec. 22 when Skye Vaughan-Jayne brings his own brand of winter wonderland to The Sunset Strip—performing with his band The Black Marquee, plus special guests The Prolific and DJ Jessie ‘The Devil’ Hughes a.k.a. Boots Electric.  The rodeo begins at 8 p.m.  Tickets are only $10!
