Tonight, acclaimed indie dance-pop group Friendly Fires is taking over The Sunset Strip with not just one, but two shows on the boulevard. The magic begins at The Roxy Theatre as the band headlines a night of music that also features sets from favorites Superhumanoids and the always enjoyable Foster The People.

After the show, Friendly Fires continues the dance party as they journey down the boulevard to The Standard for an after party DJ set! Come see why both LAist and The Scenestar picked this as the must-see event of the night. (Roxy show tickets: $20 www.theroxyonsunset.com; RSVP for The Standard after party.)

Other awesomeness on the boulevard tonight:
Moshe Kasher, Brody Stevens, Boby Lee, Dom Irrera and Chris D’Elia @ The Comedy Store Original Room
Two Guns, Codi Jordan Band, Capra @ Viper Room
Reggae Fest @ HOB
Desert Nights with Amanda Jo Williams, Darren Rademaker @ The Standard’s Cactus Lounge
Chelsea Bain, Olivia May @ Whisky
Eli Record Release Party @ Key Club
