’Teas The Season Charitable Afternoon Tea Service @ Boxwood Café by Gordon Ramsay

This holiday season enjoy afternoon tea service at Boxwood Café by Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood benefitting Los Angeles-based non-profit organization A Place Called Home. The festive seasonal menu includes, but is not limited to, an assortment of afternoon tea pastries (vanilla macaron with burnt marshmallow, chiffon cake with Snow White icing, winter spiced financier), a selection of miniature tea sandwiches, freshly baked, traditional British scones, and a selection of loose leaf teas and herbal infusions. The holiday afternoon tea served is offered from 2:30-4:30 p.m. daily and is $28/person, while the champagne afternoon tea is $40/person. 15% of all proceeds will be donated to A Place Called Home, which raises funds for undeserved individuals to take ownership of the direction of their lives through programs in education, arts, and well-being. Toys For Tots Drive @ Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club

 Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club is holding our 10th Annual Toys For Tots Drive in partnership with the West Hollywood Sheriffs Station. Now through Dec. 19, you may drop off an unwrapped gift to Shamrock Social Club (9026 Sunset Blvd.) to benefit local families. The Art Addiction brings the "Angels & Demons" exhibit to The Sunset Strip, 8590 Sunset Boulevard. The exhibit opens up an art dialog between world renowned artists in Los Angeles, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia. It will feature: Tamara Semenova, Stuart Kusher, Sasha Krivtsov, Boris Gudanaev, Azat Mamedinov, Gregory Pototsky. Desserts include: linzer torte with hazelnuts and raspberry jam (Austria), baklava with phyllo and walnuts (Greece), Penettone, a sweetbread with candied fruits and raisins (Italy), Buche de Noel (France), gourmet fruit cake (England), eggnog custard gingerbread cookies (Canada), sweet tamales with mangoes and dulce de leche (Mexico), rice pudding with currants, raisins and cinnamon (Denmark), candy cane soufflé (Switzerland), snowman baked meringue (Belgium), and apple pie (United States).
