If you’ve ever dreamed of dining in an art museum, now is your chance to make that dream a reality. West Hollywood’s The Avenues: Art, Fashion and Design District is hosting a series of innovative dining events that lets you dine with art.

“Taste Art” will highlight the City’s premier art galleries and acclaimed restaurants, pairing art exhibits with special prix-fixe menus from West Hollywood’s hottest chefs. The dining events will take place Tuesday nights at restaurants throughout the city, including four Sunset Strip restaurants (Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood, BLT Steak, RH at Andaz and Restaurant at Sunset Marquis).

Each “art tasting” will consist of a three- or four-course menu and wine pairing inspired by a selection of artworks presented in a gallery-like atmosphere. During each event, the curator, chef and sommelier will each present their unique contributions to the menu, providing insight into their philosophies behind the evening’s art, food and wine selections.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the West Hollywood Library Fund. The Taste Art series includes:

Tuesday, Oct. 5
Gala Opening Event at Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood with art selections from the Tasende Gallery. The evening will feature a menu inspired by a selection of paintings and sculptures by celebrated contemporary artist Fernando Botero.

Tuesday, Oct. 12
RH at Andaz pairs with contemporary artist Roni Stretch, who specializes in oil painting and photography. RH’s Chef Sebastian Archambault has created a seasonal menu that blends Southwestern French influences with local ingredients.

Tuesday, Oct. 19
Restaurant at The Sunset Marquis Hotel, which recently received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, pairs with George Stern Fine Arts, which specializes in California Impressionism and American scene painting.

Tuesday, Oct. 26
BLT Steak pairs with Aboriginal Dreamtime Fine Art Gallery, whose mission is to encourage the work of younger and emerging Aboriginal artists. The gallery also represents works from highly-acclaimed Australian artists.
